A chart is made up of different objects. It may be necessary to resize these objects:
- To make the title white space larger or smaller
- To allow longer labels if they cannot be truncated and are overlapping the chart
To resize the objects, hold CTRL + SHIFT. The objects that can be resized, will outline in red. Continuing to hold CTRL + SHIFT, hover over one of the red lines to see the resize icon. Left click the line and move the mouse to the left, right, up or down (depending on which line is being adjusted). Release the mouse when in the desired position.
For example, hovering over the left red line around the chart (at the 0 axis), left click, and movie the line to the right.
Releasing the mouse to the right of the longest text will result in a smaller chart object but the titles are no longer overlapping.
