This article describes how to deal with the error message "Your browser does not support XmlDocument objects
In some use cases the user is able to open the access point and if trying to open a document afterwards in Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11), the document is being in loading state forever or for a long time.
Issue is not present in any other browser and is only affecting several users.

The possible solution is to add the access point address to the local intranet trusted sites
It is likely something in the zone security settings, so customer could review the default zone he is in against trusted sites zone and see what the deltas are, if one of them relates to xml something or other, that might be the setting, but most probably there will be a group policy setting that in which case trusted sites will likely be the only fix.Also a good advice is to check that IE is not being used in compatibility mode or try to reset IE settings or Restore Advanced Settings.
