This problem will also lead to connection error when generating the meta data of the application connection.
The most likely cause is that the user has been deleted or disabled in the Active Director, or a faulty LDAP filter configured in the connection string.
In the Qlik Sense Management Console, open the Users menu and find the administrative / root user used by Nprinting. The IDENTIFICATION includes the Delete prohibited checkbox.
To recover the user,
First confirm that the user is active in the active directory, then re-sync the users in Qlik Sense and the user will become active again after the user logs into Qlik Sense again.
Finally, go to the user settings in Qlik Sense, just above where you gave it rootadmin privilege, select the "Delete Prohibited" option.
