Straight table in QlikView by default shows numerical values as right aligned.
After export to Excel the numbers are left aligned and the data is flagged as incorrectly formatted.
This issue is caused by cell alignment not being included in the XLS file composed by QlikView.
By design, it requires to apply strict formatting the value to number in the chart object. By doing this Microsoft Excel will recognize the data format and align the value by default alignment in Excel. This will resolve the incorrect data format flag in Excel.
For example the example above can be resolved by changing the number format to Integer in Chart Properties > Number.
NOTE: If QlikView alignment is left, and Excel default alignment is right, the exported strictly formatted value will be right aligned in Excel.
