Current Selections box indicates that more values are selected than what are actually selected.
In the example below the Current Selections indicate that A,B,C is selected in field Alpha, while only value B is selected in the list box displaying the field Alpha.
The Current Selections box displays the currently applied selections on fields.
Consider that values A,B,C are selected in field Alpha, which gives the below result in the application.
The possible values in field Num are 1,2,3 so if any of these are selected. When one of the possible values in field Num is selected, the Current Selections box still displays all previous selections in field Alpha. The selection of a possible value in field Num is possible within the scope if the possible values of field Alpha's selections, there for the selection on field Alpha remains as it is.
For the same reason a cleared selection in field Num returns the previously selected values in field Alpha as the possible values in the Alpha list box.
This is a fundamental feature of QlikView, and the presentation in the Current Selections box as presenting the values as intended by product design.
There is current setting in QlikView that allows the Current Selections box to display only the current possible values.
