Q: Is there a KEEP ALIVE option in the Qlik Sense Script when connecting to an ODBC connection? A: There is a Query Timeout option which you can use to keep connection running while awaiting a reply from a server.
Q: Is there any connector for SAS? there is requirement to fetch data from SAS. if not then can it be managed with ODBC driver A: It is possible to install any ODBC driver, including SAS, and use it with ODBC/DSN connectivity option.
Q: If using the engine option for improved loading time, do I understand it right I need to make sure to define all fields such as date/time, int to num etc? A: Usually, you will not feel any difference, but there are cases when fields metadata(and data) can come in a different format. It always better to try and visually verify that required data is still coming in acceptable format.
Q: Can you offer again the path of the ODBC-Driver-logfiles? A: C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Custom Data\<required connector>\Log
