The Qlik Sense Monitoring apps fail to reload. Reviewing the script log shows:

CUSTOM CONNECT TO *** Connector connect error: Parameter "FIi}d" has no value, or misplaced semicolon.

Resolution

This indicates that something got corrupted in the connection string of the REST data connection.

Most frequently, the error indicates that the password used includes a special character (;). The REST connection to the monitoring apps does not support semicolons.

If you do not have a special character in your password, re-enter the password manually:

  1. Go to the Qlik Sense Management Console
  2. Open Data Connections
  3. Edit each of the REST connections that has a name beginning with monitor_apps_
  4. Reinput the credentials
  5. Reload the app

If you cannot see the data connections in the hub, see the following article for the security rule to add to see those: Qlik Sense Monitoring Apps fail to reload in the HUB

Environment

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows
