Qlik Sense Desktop crashes after authenticating against Qlik Sense Enterprise or Qlik Sense SaaS

QlikSense desktop closes down when you try to authenticate.

Environment
QlikSense Desktop June 2020 IR to Patch 2

Resolution

Upgrade:

• Download and install Qlik Sense Desktop June 2020 Patch 3 (or later if you intend to upgrade!)

Reinstall:

• Uninstall QlikSense Desktop.
• Make sure that there are no files left in the directory
• C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense
• Delete any files in the above directory
• Then reinstall again.
