Qlik ODBC drivers may fail to load with the error:
ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126: The specified module could not be found. (Qlik-oracle, C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvOdbcConnectorPackage\oracle\lib\OracleODBC_sb64.dll)
The error persists even if the .dll exists in the path mentioned in the error description.
Resolution:
The problem is caused by a compatibility issue with the installed ODBC drivers and the installed Microsoft Visual C++ version. Verify that the correct Microsoft Visual C++ version for your ODBC driver version.
- Refer to your ODBC Connector version in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvOdbcConnectorPackage\<database>\lib. Review the properties of the .dll file in this location.
- To verify what version of Microsoft Visual C++ is needed, review https://insightsoftware.com/drivers/.
