Qlik NPrinting Server Installation Fails Starting the Repository Service

The installation or the upgrade of the Qlik NPrinting server fails just after the installation of the Repository, when the setup tries to start the RepoService.
The installation wizard shows the options to retry or stop the installation/upgrade.

Environment:

• Qlik NPrinting 2019 and higher releases

The Qlik NPrinting RepoService is launched automatically by the setup after the installation or the upgrade of the service. By default, it is run by the NetworkService user. In some configurations, this user has not the rights to launch a service, so the installation stops.
It is necessary to assign a different user to the service to start it and proceed.

It is possible to start the QlikNPrintingRepoService with a different user and proceed with the installation or the upgrade. Please, follow these steps:

1. Do not click on Retry or Stop on the Setup wizard.
2. Open services (write "Services" on Windows start).
3. Change the QlikNPrintingRepoService user to Local System (Right click on the sevice name>Properties > Log on > Local System account) or to any users that has rights to run a service on the system (For example the user that will run the NPrinting Engine service).
4. Click on the Retry button on the Setup error window
