Environment:
Qlik Sense Mobile (iOS / Android) - up to April 2020 Initial Release
Problem Scenario: Qlik Sense site with two or more sets of Proxy / Engine nodes, Load Balancing rules that split availability of applications between these servers. Assuming no application overlap between Engines. This Load Balancing works correctly when using a desktop or mobile browser.
User logging into Proxy 1 can see only apps Load Balanced on the Engines linked to this Proxy node. User can correctly open apps from this set, without failure.
User logging into Proxy 2 can see only apps Load Balanced on the Engines linked to this Proxy node. User can correctly open apps from this set, without failure.
When using Qlik Sense Mobile:
User logging into Proxy 1 can see all apps. User can only open correctly apps Load Balanced on Engines linked to this Proxy. All other apps will fail to open.
User logging into Proxy 2 can see all apps. User can only open correctly apps Load Balanced on Engines linked to this Proxy. All other apps will fail to open.
It may seem that Qlik Sense Mobile is ignoring the Load Balancing rules, at first glance.
An app update will be available soon in the respective App Store, which will resolve this issue.
