App Data is not updated when new Data File is uploaded and loaded via Data Manager

App Data is not updated when new a new Data File (e.g: .csv, xlsx, etc) is uploaded overwriting the existing one via Data Manager.

It is expected that after clicking on the "Load Data" button which looks the same as the one under the "Data Load Editor", that new source data will be loaded into the App.

• Qlik Sense, all versions, all editions

The "Load Data" buttons under "Data Load Editor" and "Data Manager" do not perform the same operation per design.

The tool-tip when hovering the cursor over the buttons clarifies what pressing it will trigger:

Data Manager > Load Data: Update the app with changes made in Data Manager
Data Load Editor > Load Data: Run the script and refresh App data from data sources

There has been an Improvement to make the Load Data buttons different in order to make the difference more explicit.

Workaround:

• After loading new data via Data Manager, access Data Load Editor and press the "Load Data" button in order to load the new source data into the app.
