Qlik Sense : Invalid-Visualization-when-adding-the-Nprinting-On-demand-button

Description


Issue:
  • When adding the Nprinting On-demand  button in Qlik Sense Application

Error Received: 
  • The visualization was not found on the server. The extension is not available: qlik-on-demand-reporting({1})

Environment
  • Qlik Sense June 2018 or higher
  • Qlik NPrinting June 2018 or higher

Cause


This was reported after a Qlik Sense upgrade 

Resolution


Steps to Resolve: 


Step 1: 

Confirm the the extension exist in the correct path: 

"\\yourcomputername\Yourshare\qliksense\StaticContent\Extensions\qlik-on-demand-reporting"


Step 2:

Remove and Refresh the On-demand extension bundle
  1. Open the Sense QMC and go to "Extensions"
  2. Select the "qlik-on-demand-reporting" extension and click on delete
  3. Restart the Qlik Sense repository service, 

Note: This process  will recreate the extension from the dashboard bundle with the newest version
