Reloading data from a QVD file in Qlik Sense fails with Unsupported or bad format in QVD file

 

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows 
QlikView 

 

Resolution

These issues are most often caused by file reading or access issues.

File access issues due to resource bottlenecks. If the file system (disk or CPU) is receiving too much traffic during a specific time window when the error occurs, reschedule the QVD reload to a different time.

We have also received reports in which renaming the file on disk has resolved the issue, but were unable to identify a root cause for this solution.
