GeoAnalytics Bubble Layer Icon Color

Whenever the color of the bubble layer using the Single Color option is set, it is working as expected.
However, when use the By Expression Option and then use a color function to define the color, the color of the icon in the GeoAnalytics - Bubble Layer object is always gray.
Wanted the object to properly display the color used in the layer.
Resolution
Works as intended. It becomes gray when using color by expression since that option usually is intended for situations where you want more than one color, otherwise the single color option is more suitable.
