This article is about how QlikView Mobile handles redirection.Environments:
- QlikView Mobile for iOS all versions.
QlikView Mobile only supports redirection for authentication. Therefore redirecting to a different QlikView server than the QlikView Server name originally input in QlikView Mobile will not work and is not a supported scenario.
Once the user inputs the QlikView Server name (referred to as <QlikView server name> below) in QlikView Mobile, the following workflow will happen:
- QlikView mobile will do a request to <QlikView server name>/QvAJAXZfc/heartbeat.aspx
If the redirection is set up correctly on this URL, then the redirection to the authentication page will occur in a popup inside QlikView Mobile, if no redirection to an authentication page is configured, then by default, QlikView mobile will prompt for Windows credentials instead.
- Once the authentication process has completed, QlikView mobile will ignore further redirection and go back automatically to <QlikView server name>/QvAJAXZfc/accesspoint.aspx and fetch the document list and display it.
