AND/NOT mode not excluding the values correctly

Consider following example:

Count all titles while ignoring the selection „ANDActor“.

Starting situation (without having done any selection):

• Formula in text box:

=count({<ANDActor=>}DISTINCT Title) 

 

1). AND logic (works fine): 

When selecting any attribute in the field “ANDActor”, the number of titles remains untouched (3602 titles in this case with “& ‘Chicken’ Holleman”).

In other words, as expected, the selection “ANDActor” is ignored in the calculation.

2.) AND-Mode functionality with NOT selection (is not working):

When changing the selection in the same field “ANDActor” into the AND-NOT mode, the number of titles is changing to 3601.

Expectation: Since this is the same field, as above in section 2.), the number of titles should also be ignored by the selection and remain “3602”.

This examples works very fine in Qlikview 11!

The correct syntax for clearing NOT selections is <~MyField=>. <MyField=> will just clear the selections in and-mode, not the NOT-selections. Count({<~ANDActor=, ANDActor=>} DISTINCT Title) in the example shown should give the expected result.
