file:// URL in a table is not opened with chrome

A file:// url populated within a table is usable in Internet Explorer but not in Chrome
Resolution
The behaviour described is part of Chrome's security, it prevents websites from accessing file:// URIs by default.
It is possible to override this by running Chrome with the flag:
--allow-file-access-from-file
This is generally not recommended since that would allow all websites the to access the file system on the computer.
