Images misrepresented in NPrinting Powerpoint and PDF reports

When images in NPrinting Designer are dragged and dropped without changing the size in the PowerPoint report they are displayed correctly.

If the position and size are changed in the format picture menu in PowerPoint the image gets squashed or misrepresented. See the image below:


Environments:

• NPrinting Designer - September 2018 and later
• Nprinting Server - September 2018 and later

This is not a QV or NPrinting defect because this "issue" is related to a new feature introduced to improve the image quality. It works as expected for QlikView and NPrinting.
When you set the "useAdvancedImageExport" flag as described above in the Resolution field, you remove the new feature on the image quality (without changing the actual image quality).

In order to solve this issue change the following parameter in the NPrinting engine QlikView Config file:
1. In the NPrinting Engine machine, go to C:\ProgramFiles\NPrinting Server\NPriniting\Engine 
2. Open the file qlikview.config 
3. Uncomment the row "useAdvancedImageExport" 
4. Set the value to "false" 
5. Save the file 
6. Restart the NP machine
