Qlik Sense JOINS are not working correctly

In Qlik Sense, JOINS are not working as expected.

They worked in the April 2018 release but stopped working in the June 2018 release.

This change is an intentional change to keep the original format as obtained from data sources.  However, it is possible to ensure specific field to be numeric by using num#() function.

And this is expected  when numerical formats are not explicitly interpreted in the script, different ODBC or OLE DB providers may give different results and this applies to different tables within a the same database as well. The numerical format, when left without explicit interpretation and formatting is load order dependent and as such, the numerical format may be very volatile. It is always recommended to interpret or handle the numerical formats in the script.
