NPrinting: When "Show column if" is used, added table in Nprinting does not display the fields

When "Show column If" is set to a value in Qlik Sense and the condition is fulfilled,  fields of the table (object) are not shown in the NPinting Report
 

Example: Use attached QVF.

• "Show column If" is set to $(vShowAllVolColumns)=1

1. In Nprinting, do a metadata reload
2. Create a report
3. Add a table object and preview ==> fields are not listed

 

• Remove $(vShowAllVolColumns)=1

1. remove $(vShowAllVolColumns)=1, reload and save
2. In Nprinting, do a metadata reload
3. Open the previous created report
4. Right-click on the same object &  Update == > all  fields are "now" listed

This is a known limitation in NPrinting. Levels, single column exports and keep source formats functionalities are not supported for all Sense tables that have a "Show column if" condition set on one or more of its columns.
The reason of this limitation is that the formula result may change according to the filters applied by selections, so a column may disappear from reports with specific selction causing relevant problems related to incorrect formatting.

This is how NPrinting is supposed to work. Neverless a case has been opened with R&D (OP-8653) to investigate possible improvements.
