Join UsSome of the nulls shown in a pivot table do not occur from null values in fields, but occur from missing rows from related tables, based on the data model. In this situation, there were some synthetic keys, some columns were missing values and some expected columns were not present in all the tables. The NullAsValue function was used to populate some of the missing data in some columns.
It was found that some of the tables were actually missing columns that should have been included. These columns were added and populated with non-null values and after these efforts to clean up the data model, the issues were resolved and the calculations had the correct expected values.
