Binary Statement Not Showing in Reload Log Files

The document log for reload should indicate all the activities in the reload process. It was reported that the document logs were not including the binary statement in version 12.20.
The binary statement should show in the document reload log file with the timestamp and the name of the file that was loaded
Example:
2019-05-13 14:26:16 0002 binary c:\example_app.qvw

Cause
The cause of this issue was not determined.
Resolution
This issue was reproduced by Qlik Product Support in version 12.20 SR 9. The binary statement showed up in the log file when BNF mode was disabled, but when BNF mode was enabled the binary statement did not show up in the log file as expected. BNF mode (EnableBnfReload) is described in QlikView November 2017: Failing reloads and BNF script reload mode.
The behavior was tested in version 12.30, and the issue was no longer present. The binary statement shows up properly in the document logs for reload in 12.30. The resolution for the issue was to upgrade to version 12.30.
