If you have tried to delete the log folder, and enabled the debug logs for the Data Profiling service, but you still see the issue coming up with no reason visible in the logs/debug logs please reach out to support.
The issue seems to appear more often when using Qlik Sense February 2019, we were not able to reproduce the error inhouse so far. That is why we issued a Problem Investigation. If you can provide us a sample app which show the following symptoms:
- Opening the App in the hub works
- Go to the Edit view
- Change from “Analysis” to “Data” or open the Data Manager
- You should now see the error: “Data Profiling service is not available” as a popup
It might not happen all the time but most of the time.
In this case please reach out to support and provide us the App you were testing with. We will then try to include it into Problem Investigation:
