Description

After installing a single node environment, the proxy is showing as never contacted in the QMC, but it is possible to log in the QMC and HUB

Environment:

Qlik Sense on Windows server 64bits

Cause

This is due to a bug in the default .NET framework on 64 bit server

Resolution

.net framework proxy settings details below…

The following two files need to be edited

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config\machine.config

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config\machine.config

This is the new section that needs to be added:

</system.data>
<system.net>
            <defaultProxy enabled="false" />
</system.net>
<system.serviceModel>
