Description:
- The use of Calculated Dimensions cause NPrinting On Demand executions to fail.
- This is an example of a calculated dimension:
- Using any type of calculated dimension in a QlikView or Qlik Sense chart, list box or table will result in an error when used as selection criteria in executing an NPrinting On Demand report.
Environment:
- All supported versions of NPrinting
Resolution:
- Move the calculated dimension into the load script of your QVW or QVF.
- R&D has confirmed that this is considered working as designed. See Known Issues and Limitations any NPrinting Release notes. (see attached example).
Cause:
- NPrinting is only able to process direct selections in a QVW or QVF. Calculated dimensions are derived dimension values that NPrinting is unable to process directly
