Environment:
The behaviour documented in this article is specific to an environment upgraded to November 2018, and caused by a yet to be identified issue with a WebSocket connection.

Data load editor Data Connections Load Slowly When There is No Internet Connection in Qlik Sense Server
After upgrade to Qlik Sense November 2018 Patch 3 or above, it may be impossible to access the Data Manager or the Data Connection in Data Load Editor from time to time.
Cause
This is logged as a PI (QLIK-94252)
Resolution
This is due to a WebSocket issue between the Data Prep Service and the Engine. You can work around this in 2 ways:
- Restart the Service Dispatcher
- Restart the node.js process running the Data Prep Service
a. Open the Task Manager to the Details tab
b. Right-Click and choose “Select Columns”
c. Choose “Command Line” and then “OK”
d. Find the Node Service running the Data Prep Service and end it (it should restart automatically)
e. Do this on all nodes until the issue is resolved.
3) If the issue comes back ; try to set IPv4 preference over IPv6 as per Microsoft guide https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929852/guidance-for-configuring-ipv6-in-windows-for-advanced-users.
