In Qlik Sense, after a redirection, the part after # in the URL is removed.

Environments:

Resolution:

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to know the anchor since the hash (the string including the #) never gets passed to the server, it is solely a behavioural property of the browser.

This is a browser-specific behaviour and has been raised on numerous occasions over the web, following are a few of them:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1229203/redirect-301-with-hash-part-anchor
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15133023/hash-url-rewrite-in-htaccess
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/redirect-users-to-url-with-anchor/
https://joomla.stackexchange.com/questions/19141/redirect-an-anchor-link-to-a-new-url

The browser is not passing the part after the #, so that is why Qlik Sense cannot redirect to the URL.

The workaround would be to not use # in the URL.
