SAP connection password not being accepted because of special characters

Error message "Username/Password is incorrect" is displayed when creating a connection to a SAP environment that has 16 character length passwords and different character combinations, even when the password is correct.
Environment:
- SAP Connector version 7.0.1
- Connecting to Qlik Sense 11.24.3
Cause
BUG ID
- SAP-1834.
Resolution
The fix for bug SAP-1834 targeted release at the time of writing this article is SAP Connector 7.0.2.
