Qlik Sense - Difference between MatchCase with API's

• app.field('').selectMatch('value', false);

• app.getList('SelectionObject', callback);

Environment: 

• Qlik Sense November 2018 SR 4

The method selectMatch performs a field search so normal search syntax in Qlik Sense applies. For example:

• app.field("[Year]").selectMatch("2010 or 2011", false);

However, only app.field.selectValues instead which takes an array of either ElemNumbers or strings. For example: 

• app.field("[Year]").selectValues([{qText: '2010'}, {qText: '2011'}], true, true);

In previous versions, the effects of these two methods did not appear to be enforced consistently causing an apparent change in behavior.
