Unable to Export table to Excel after upgrade to 12.30

After upgrading to 12.30 some users are having issues with exporting to csv and excel. It seems to be related to specific documents and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
When it doesn't work then it opens the export windows and just says "Exporting..." for minutes without anything else happening.
Environment:
QlikView 12.30
Resolution
Please note that this issue is a known bug QV-16036 fixed in QlikView 12.30 SR1.
Workaround:
Alt 1: For the straight table: Properties -> Presentation -> highlight Column "Alpha" *** -> choose "Show Column" -> Save
*** > check if there are hidden columns. set these columns to ''show'' and try the export again
Alt 2: Move expression column to be the last column in the straight table
