Accessing Hub or QMC from a Windows client / server throws HTTP 500 error, but works from macOS / Linux clients

Users that are in the local administrator group can't access the hub or the QMC, and get an error 500 after logging in. User not in the local admin group have no issue, neither have users logging from other operating system and mobile devices.

Cause

"Local users who are part of the local “Administrators“ group may not be able to remotely access shares on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 machines after installing the January 8th, 2019 security updates. This does not affect domain accounts in the local "Administrators" group."

Resolution
Option 1: Uninstall Microsoft Update KB4480970, KB4512488
Option 2: If the update above is already installed and cannot be removed due to company policy, request update KB4487345 to be installed. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4487345/update-for-windows-7-sp1-and-windows-server-2008-r2
Option 3: Reinstall Microsoft Update KB4512488 to fix issue.
