Nprinting Report Fails after Qlik Sense Server Restart and Does Not Generate Notification

Environment is both Qlik Sense and nPrinting (would also apply to Qlik View). The QS central node experienced a restart, and as a result nPrinting lost its connection and led to a scheduled report not running. Reviewing the event log 'nprinting_engine_ceg' file shows these errors:

Failed to ping Sense while keeping session alive. ERROR: System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443↓↓ at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress)↓↓ at System.Net.ServicePoint.ConnectSocketInternal(Boolean connectFailure, Socket s4, Socket s6, Socket& socket, IPAddress& address, ConnectSocketState state, IAsyncResult asyncResult, Exception& exception)↓↓ --- End of inner exception stack trace ---↓↓ at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()↓↓ at Engine.Navigator.QlikSense.SDK.Rendering.QlikSenseAuthenticator.<>c__DisplayClass5.<<StartPingingSenseToKeepSessionAlive>b__3>d__8.MoveNext()
Result was that a connector was disconnected and reports that relied on this connector failed. Is it possible to configure nPrinting to alert on disconnection failures?
