Making a call to the exportData function of the visualization api results in a TypeError in internet explorer 11:

Checking on google it's looks that there is a potential solution to deal with this error which is caused by internet explorer not supporting the endsWith method: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49871609/js-in-ie11-string-method-endswith-is-not-working
The problem lies in the fact that this method is used internally by the exportData function of the visualization API and so a user cannot amend the code as suggested in the above link.
Cause
The issue is resolved in Qlik Sense April 2019. See the related Release Notes for ID QLIK-92955.
