QlikView and NPrinting incompatibility issue when using plug-in tunneling and On Demand with DMS

A customer is in the following scenario:
 

• QV cluster with NPrinting
• some users need to use the plugin
• some other users need to use NPrinting On Demand and don't need to use the plugin
• ports 4747 cannot be opened from clients, so  tunneling is required
• DMS Authorization

There is an incompatibility:

• NPrinting On Demand with DMS requires using IIS
• Tunneling in a clustered environment is not supported in IIS, QlikView Webserver is required: How To ConfigureTunneling Using Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)

At the moment, this request is not prioritized.


Possible workarounds:

• open port 4747
• move from DMS to NTFS
• if the above not possible, setup two separate webservers: QlikView Webserver for plugin users - IIS for AJAX/On Demand users
