QlikView November 2017 - QlikView Server crash with Exception: Caught ... exception in Document\: Chart.cpp at 1137

QlikView Server is crashing randomly without any resource outage noticed.
Looking at the QlikView Event logs we can see before the crash:
20180711T120452.000-0400 20180711T151453.000-0400 2 500 Warning Exception: Caught ... exception in Document\CH108: Chart.cpp at 1137
Looking at the QlikView Audit logs you can see around the time of the crash the use of a cyclic group of dimension
20181106T043648.000-0500 20181106T072604.000-0500 \\Server\APPLICATION.qvw Sheet Object Domain\User1 Cycle Dimension Document\CH108 - 6919
Environment:
QlikView November 2017 SR4-SR7
Cause
There are two defects causing this issue about handling cycling of dimensions.
Resolution
A fix has been provided in QlikView November 2017 SR8 and QlikView November 2018 SR1
