- Passwords are encrypted as a function of Microsoft Office for any MS office NPrinting reports. For example Office 2013 is 128 AES and Office 2016 password encryption default is 128 AES is configurable via the registry. This is a separate Microsoft function that is not configurable in the NPrinting interface. Please consult Microsoft documentation separately to update password encryption settings for MS office password protection.
