Saving and Sharing a PDF on Apple Mobile Devices

Currently when choosing to export a sheet to PDF on an Apple mobile device, the PDF opens in a new window as expected. However, you are unable to save this PDF and when you choose the option to share the PDF via the menu, a URL link to the server is given. This is not useful when sending to someone that does not have access to the server. 

Users have raised this as a case of what they feel is a usability issue with Qlik Sense on the iPad. When users “Export sheet to PDF” the PDF opens in a new windows as expected. However, they are unable to do anything with saving this PDF. If they choose to “Share” the PDF via the menu, all they are given is a URL link to the server, which is not useful when sent to another person. Users would like to be able to send PDF's in an email to someone who does not have access to the server. 

Qlik currently passes the file onto a different app to open the PDF. If that app doesn't have this feature, these actions can't be completed but that's outside of Qlik at this time.

This is a potential feature that Qlik could add in the future, however, since Qlik is passing on the PDF file to a different app, this cannot be changed at this time.
