There is a difference in the implementation of date/month default formats between Qlik Sense versions. QlikView and older versions of Qlik Sense (Sep 2017 and earlier) rely on Windows formats, while later versions of Qlik Sense relies on ICU formats (CLDR) since version November 2017 (11.24.1) . ICU format will also be implemented since QlikView 12.30.
In most cases, number format values in the two standards are the same. However, for certain locales such as 'nl-NL'
, some format might be different. For example, the additional dot ".
" in variable MonthNames
