User may be prompted for credentials when accessing AccessPoint from different domain.Environment:
In a multi-domain environment (trust) a user from a trusted domain using a computer joined to the specific domain may not consider the IP, FQDN, or hostname used in the AccessPoint URL to be part of the Local Intranet. In this case it will by default not automatically authenticate using the currently user NT credentials.
1. Under Internet Options > Security tab > Internet
2. Click on "Custom Level"
3. Scroll down to User Authentication
4. Make sure Automatic logon with current user name and password is enabled
5. Click OK
As an alternative, the AccessPoint URL may be added to trusted sites and the automatic logon enabled for 'Trusted sites' instead.
If issue is observed in the same domain, check the settings above under Local Intranet tab instead.
