Qlik Core is a developer-centric product delivered as a set of software components, including the Qlik Associate Engine.
There is not an over-arching version of Qlik Core, but the components themselves have versions and are following our API Governance in terms of versioning and stability.

Who do I contact for support?
R&D support and community: Day-to-day support from R&D (and a subset of other Qlik people) can be found on the Qlik Branch Slack: http://branch.qlik.com/slack in #qlik-core and related channels. Pretty active and a great way to get insights into how people are using the product and things to learn.
