Unable to access QMC in Qlikview "Page can not be displayed"

Unable to access QMC in Qlikview and system tab is showing an error "Invalid request:Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"

If you review the config.xml file under %ProgramData%\QlikTech\ManagementService you will notice it is eitehr corrupt or has no contents in it (size of zero KB) 

Additionally, Qlikview management service logs show these errors:

Corrupt config file of management service 

 

In case the config file is corrupt (or of zero KB), please perform the following steps to re-create it:

1. Stop Qlik view management service from services console
2. Rename the corrupted config file to something else
3. Start Qlik view management service again
4. Verify a new config file is created at %ProgramData%\QlikTech\ManagementService folder
