Qlik Sense Export to PDF or PPT is not as expected. Tables are resized or colors have changed
Article Number: 000055234 | Last Modified: 2018/11/21
Description
Export a table or a chart. The result you get in PPT or PDF format can be not exactly the same as it is in the Sense app. The colors in the chart may be different, the table may be resized or some columns may be missed.
Environment:
Qlik Sense November 2017 and higher releases
Cause
This behavior is expected. The Export functionality in Qlik Sense is not fully WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). It is possible that colors and table dimensions are different when you export to PDF or PPT.
This depends to the fact that the Qlik Sense opens a copy of the object you are importing using an internal browser window. Different browsers can show different colors in the chart or a different table layout.
At the moment, it is not possible to change this and some differences in the image format must be kept into account when you export.
A PPT file that explains how the export functionality works is attached to this article. Have a look at it for more detailed information.
Resolution
Currently, there is not a workaround. It is not possible to change this behavior and some differences in the image format must be kept into account when you export.
