Investigation of the issue Finds:
You start the database service and repository service, the Repository System Trace file located at C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Repository\Trace ... will end with a line showing this message in the last line:
... Creating 40 permanent worker threads for connection handler
You feel this may be an error confusing the RIM and central node and run the BootStrap command from the command line, but it fails with the following message header:
[INFO] Running install on RepositoryBootstrapper in state Init..
[INFO] Creating REST performance counters..
[INFO] Setting up certificate authority..
[ERROR] Fatal exception during bootstrap: Keyset does not exist
Look to see if there is a 'Keys' directory in the following location:
It may have been renamed, missing, or its contents altered.
Until the Keys directory or its contents are returned to its original state Qlik will not operate.
