Support may ask for an App Binary / App On Disk from Qlik Sense. How do you get this information?Environments:
- Qlik Sense Enterprise, 3.2 and higher
- Shared Persistence
Support may ask for this because unpublished objects will not be provided during a regular app export as described in How to share an app from the Qlik Sense QMC
1. Locate the app you wish to export by ID.
a) The easiest way to do this is to open the app with the user experiencing the issue and get the app id from the URL (e.g. if the URL is https://your-sense-server/your-virtual-proxy/sense/app/1b4765ed-029e-46a5-b830-7819bf9091f0 then the app id is "1b4765ed-029e-46a5-b830-7819bf9091f0").
b) If you have the App Name but not the ID, you can located it in the QMC by showing the ID column and finding App ID corresponding to the App you need to provide (e.g., "1b4765ed-029e-46a5-b830-7819bf9091f0").
2. Navigate to your Apps shared folder (as defined in the QMC > Service Cluster > App folder)
3. Locate the corresponding file matching the App ID. Provide the extension-less file, not
the .lock file. (e.g., "1b4765ed-029e-46a5-b830-7819bf9091f0" and NOT "1b4765ed-029e-46a5-b830-7819bf9091f0.lock")
