Join UsIn situations when accessing Qlik Sense server remotely in the browser, you may see that Qlik Sense authentication pop up will keep prompting for login even when correct username and password is entered.
This issue is related to the fact that the Windows login password has expired. The Password for the users is set to 'Expire" and not as 'Never Expires' as per security policy
Of course, the password change prompt does not appear when the Qlik Sense server is accessed remotely. It simply redirects to the login prompt again and again
The Qlik Sense server logs only shows access denied.
You are only able to see the real cause when accessing the Qlik Sense server via remote desktop and when attempt to login as one of the users whose password has expired.
To resolve this, connect via remote desktop, you will then be prompted to change the Windows password.
Once Windows password is changed, you will be able to login remotely as usual.
