The Central Node is running a local Repository Database and it has been upgraded to Qlik Sense June 2018. A new Rim Node is created. Qlik Sense June 2018 is installed on the Rim Node and the option "Join Cluster" is used. The installation on the Rim Node fails with error "The database 'SenseService' does not exist.".Environments:
The Error is triggered if no password exists for the Qlik Sense Database Superuser. The password for the superuser might have not been specified in the previous version if this error happens in an environment that was upgraded or if a silent install was performed and the Superuser password was not specified. The second reason might be that in the pg_hba.conf Postgre configuration file the authentication Method was set to "trust". By default the installer should create the required databases but if the Superuser password is missing it will fail and this has been registered as a bug.
The workaround is to create the databases manually as specified in the instructions provided on the Qlik help site
. Select the correct version used.
