Qlik Sense: Tips for Monitoring apps and how to recreate Data Connections
Article Number: 000050754 | Last Modified: 2018/09/07
Description
If you are deleting data connections in Qlik Management Console, then you can import the Operations Monitor and the License Monitor apps again and the data connections will be imported as well!
However, you likely will need to configure the monitor_apps_REST data connections per the documentation https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/April2018/Subsystems/Monitoring/Content/Introduction/Configure-monitoring-apps.htm
Please also verify the the following as well: - add the correct userID and Password for the service account running the Qlik Sense services (for REST data connections) - Make sure ServerLogFolder points to the central node location (FQDN instead of localhost) - Make sure ArchivedLogsFolder points to the Sense cluster share FQDN\ArchivedLogsFolder If you still have issues, you may need to change `localhost` in the REST data connections’ URL to the FQDN of the central repository. Note that in 3.x version this needs to be configured only one time in the connection string for all seven data connections and that from Qlik Sense June version that are two 'localhost' instances in a connection string.
