Unable to access a Qlik Sense app with section access after a domain changeArticle Number: 000050446 | Last Modified: 2018/11/21
The script in the Qlik Sense apps have not been modified according to the change before. The apps containing session access cannot be opened.
- Qlik Sense all versions
Session Access is still based on the old domains, so the users with the new domain system cannot open the app. If the change in the domain involved all the users that have access to the script, it is not possible to change it and correct the session access credentials.
1. Import the app onto another server with the old domain names. It will be possible to access the app with the old credentials and correct session access.
2. Use Header authentication as it is explained in this article
Header authentication is a way to authenticate that can be used in Qlik Sense.
It is possible to pass the user credentials parameters directly in the HTTP header, bypassing the domain check.
