Join UsIn a iPhone 5 device with iOS10.x or 11.x, y-axis labels are missing when the bar chart is horizontal. In vertical mode labels are visible both in y and x axis.
This is happening because Qlik defines different layout modes to decide which components (axis label, axis title, reference line etc.) in a chart should be shown or not.
Here is the list of layout modes.
[550, 450, LayoutMode.FULL],
[400, 220, LayoutMode.MEDIUM],
[300, 150, LayoutMode.SMALL],
[150, 75, LayoutMode.XSMALL],
[0, 0, LayoutMode.SPARK]
Unfortunately, in iPhone 5, a horizontal bar chart has width of 290 pixels or 288 pixels depending on the theme.
So this is considered as XSMALL layout, and with XSMALL layout we do not show the dimension axis.
So this behavior for the resolution that an iPhone 5 has with iOS10.x or iPhone11.x is considering as working-as-designed (QLIK-87849).
